Personal information
We collect and process some or all of the following types of information from you in the course of your use of the C4 Sight Supplier App:
- Information provided in connection with the setup of your account. This includes:
- Name

- Vehicle registration number
- Insurance details
- Information that you provide to us either via your account, orally, via email or via any other medium. This may include information provided when you request information, or report a problem with the C4 Sight Supplier App.

- Information collected via the C4 Sight Supplier App, which includes the following:
- Location data - We use GPS technology, cellular data and IP addresses to determine your current or approximate location. Our services require your location data (for example) to work out remaining mileages. You will be asked to consent to your data being used for this purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time by disabling location data in your settings, although the C4 Sight Supplier App will have much less value does not permit location data collection. Location data will be collected both when you are using the C4 Sight Supplier App, and when the C4 Sight Supplier App is running in the background.
- Availiability information - this includes the advance location provided by you to enable us to inform you of potential further jobs.
- Milestone information - this includes the milestones provided by you, date and time they were provided, and any POD photographs uploaded by you.
- Device data - We collect data about devices used to access our services which is used by our support team to provide support to you.
- Usage data - how you interact with our services, dates and times you access the C4 Sight Supplier App, or other system activity.
Uses made of this information
We make use of your location data as follows:
- To determine whether you have arrived at a customer site or other stopping point
- To monitor whether or not you are proceeding in the correct direction
- To work out remaining distances and ETA estimates
- To inform you of further jobs/opportunities
We routinely disclose your location data to our customer and to your own company as follows:
- Arrival on site
- Remaining distances
- Informing the customer of revised ETAs
- Plotting journeys on a map
Storing your location data
We take appropriate measures to ensure that data is kept secure, including security measures to prevent location data from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way.
We limit access to your location data to those who have a genuine business need to know it.
Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
Access to the C4 portal be encrypted using SSL technology.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
Although we will do our best to protect your location data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted; any transmission is at your own risk.
Once we have received your information, We will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
How long we keep your location data

Where we store your location data
All information we hold about you is stored on our hosted secure servers within the UK.
Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes we may make to our policy in the future will be notified and made available to you using the C4 Sight Supplier App. Your continued use of the services and the C4 Sight Supplier App shall be deemed your acceptance of the new privacy policy.
IP addresses and Unique ID
We may collect information about your mobile phone, or other device from which you access the C4 Sight Supplier App including where available your IP address, operating system, hardware model. We use such information in conjunction with the data we have about you in order to track your usage of the C4 Sight Supplier App.
We use the Unique ID of the device to authenticate your details for you to be able to use our C4 Sight Supplier App.
